
Webvisions (Australia) utilises a complete set of server monitoring solutions to keep you updated with the current state of your computing environment. Our dynamic monitoring system helps you identify trouble spots quickly before they compromise your mission-critical applications.
We monitor one specific service port on your server (eg. http, https, pop3) every 5 minutes, making you constantly aware of your server status in real-time.
siteMonitor - Basic
Every Webvisions colocation server and dedicated server package includes our 24x7 'siteMonitor - Basic' monitoring of 1 service port.
In the event of a non-responsive service port (http, web, pop3), you have the option of:
Having the server rebooted
Being alerted by email address of the problem
Both of the above.
Additional service ports can be monitored.

Monthly Fee: $25 per additional port

siteMonitor - Advanced
Webvisions also provides an advanced monitoring package that includes monitoring of up to 4 service ports on your server. You also get to choose a wider range of alerting and problem escalation options.
In the event of a non-responsive service port, you have the option of:
Having the server rebooted
Being alerted by email address of the problem
Having an NT service stopped/started/restarted (Windows)
Having a server process stopped/started/restarted (Linux)
Receiving a phone call or being paged physically (max 20 calls per month)
Any combination of the above
